We are looking forward to welcoming Wiley editors from across EMEA to our second Editor Symposium in London. The Wiley Editor Symposia program was designed with you – the journal editor – in mind. Since 2017, the symposia have brought Wiley colleagues and journal editors together from across the globe to learn, share and engage. Previous attendees have valued hearing about the current state of journal publishing, Wiley’s strategy and vision for the future and new strategies for developing and positioning their journals for continued success.

The theme of our London program is “Openness and Evolving Standards.” The movement toward Open affects everyone in the scholarly publishing ecosystem, and journal editors sit squarely at the center of that. We are very pleased to confirm that our speakers will include Jean-Claude Burgelman, Advisor Open Access Envoy to the European Commission, and Colleen Campbell of the Open Access 2020 Initiative. There will also be panel discussions with Early Career Researchers and hands-on workshops on peer review, integrity and ethics, marketing, and the development of special issues and other special content.

Register through your email invitation to confirm your attendance, or contact your Wiley journal manager.
