David Budtz Pedersen (b. 1980) is Professor & Head of Research at Humanomics Research Centre, Aalborg University Copenhagen. He is Principal Investigator for the project Mapping the Public Value of Humanities (2016-2019) supported by the Velux Foundation. He holds PhD, MA and BA degrees in philosophy of science and science policy studies from University of Copenhagen and University of Vienna. In 2009, he was Visiting Scholar at the Department of Philosophy, New York University. His work focuses on science and innovation policy and management, and on developing new methods and practices for strengthening the impact of research in society.
